Submission to God means trusting him through thick and thin while following the
pathway that he illuminates. I think this idea is summed up in one of my
favorite scriptures from the book of Proverbs: “Trust in the Lord with
all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit
to him, and he will direct your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
